There are a few different ways to which you can handle opt outs for your customers that wish to no longer receiving text messages from you. We will list those ways below so that you can make sure that you take the correct steps for your customers.
1. Contacts can use specific keywords to automatically op out of messaging. These keywords are STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL. You can add verbiage to the end of your messages to inform customers on how they can use these keywords. Example: Reply STOP to opt out.
2. FixYourFunnel can pick up on customers messages to opt them out automatically. FixYourFunnel has a system in place to pick up on certain phrases for customers wishing to opt out. Phrases such as "please remove me from your list", "I don't want to get texts anymore" Those phrases would trigger FixYourFunnel's system to opt them out.
3. Using FixYourFunnel's opt out bot. The opt out bot is something that you can use to opt out customers manually with the application of a tag. For example, a customer calls in requesting to be opted out. You can simply apply a tag to that contact record and trigger the opt out bot to opt them out. This would require some set up inside of Infusionsoft using our Funnel bot. You can look at that opt out bot here
