Pre-Call SMS is an important tool for FixYourFunnel team members who are using the Dialer to make outbound calls. In particular, Pre-Call SMS is useful for those using the dialer to call from a saved search in Infusionsoft. It allows you to send a pre-written text message to contacts on your list with the intended purpose of increasing the number of conversations you will have on the phone. You can listen to Episode 24 of our FixYourFunnel Podcast for more a detailed explanation of how this helps increase conversations. In order to setup a new Pre Call SMS first begin by clicking the blue edit icon located in the top menu bar just right of the Pre-Call SMS section:
Once you click edit this pop will appear:
Select the number that you wish to send the text message from by selecting the number from the Live Conversation dropdown. This selects the number and the live conversation that will start if the contact replies to the Pre-Call SMS.
Enter the Label for your Pre-Call SMS. Keep this short and concise so it can be easily recognizable in the preview when it is selected.
fill our your message body remembering to use the Merge Field dropdown to add personalized contact data where ever you need it.
Click Save to create the new Pre=Call SMS.
Once a new Pre-Call SMS is created and selected from the drilldown in the top menu bar, a pre-call button will now appear next to the contact box in the list dialer.
